Ada's 1st Birthday

Well, Ada turned 1 this past weekend. We had her birthday party on Saturday the 21st, instead of on her birthday the 22nd. We had a great time and are so thankful for everyone who came or called. Ada had lots of fun spending time with her grandparents and aunts and uncles. She got tons of toys and adorable clothes. It was also Ada's first time eating cake, and I think she handled it well.

Fun in the Park

We went to the park today, seemed to be a good thing to do on the first real warm day this year so far. Ada had a great time. She loved the swing set but I think her favorite part was playing in the sand. She just sat there and kept pushing a stick in and out of it. She and Adam drew pictures in and it was a good day for all of us.

From her mastering the sippy cup to sticking cheerios to her face, these are just some random shots of the past few weeks. She has continue to walk more and more, if she wants to get somewhere fast she will crawl, but every time she walks she takes more more step than the last time. We are working on the sippy cup. Sometimes she will drink from it, sometimes she will just throw it.
